Dr. Abhinav Sharma, MD, FACC, is a board-certified cardiologist who brings a rare depth of expertise in advanced cardiovascular diagnostics to the region, rooted in his elite training, which includes a two-year Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic, a consistently top-ranked cardiology program in the nation.

As an expert in multimodality cardiac imaging, Dr. Sharma strategically employs the full spectrum of non-invasive tools—including Echocardiography, Cardiac MRI, Cardiac CT, and Nuclear Stress Testing—to move beyond general findings to precise diagnosis and highly tailored treatment plans.

Central to Dr. Sharma’s practice is preventive cardiology, where advanced imaging and risk assessment are leveraged to identify cardiovascular disease at its earliest stages.

Cardiac Consultation

Comprehensive heart health evaluation with Dr. Abhinav Sharma for accurate diagnosis and treatment plans. Are you looking for a second opinion for your heart care? We are happy to review your management plan and discuss options for treatment and diagnosis keeping your goals of care at the center of decision making.

ECG, Stress Testing, Cardiac MRI and Cardiac CT

Advanced diagnostic testing is performed to assess for coronary artery disease. Stress echocardiography, nuclear stress test and cardiac PET stress tests are offered on site. A referral to Scripps hospital is facilitated for cardiac MRI. Cardiac CT referral is made to nearby Tri-City Medical Center or to Image One in Kearny Mesa (San Diego).

Echocardiography

Ultrasound imaging to visualize heart structure and assess cardiac function.

Cardiac Catheterization

Minimally invasive procedure to diagnose and treat heart conditions. Cardiac catheterization is performed by an interventional cardiologist partner.

Pacemaker Services

Implantation and management of cardiac pacemakers and defibrillators by an expert electrophysiologist partner.

Preventive Cardiology

Risk assessment and prevention strategies for heart disease.
